Accessibility statement

Published on 3 August 2026 · Last updated: 3 August 2026

Tangled Design aims to make tangled-design.ro usable by as many people as possible, including people who navigate by keyboard, use assistive technologies, enlarge text, or rely on clear contrast and structure.

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2 Level AA, as a reference when designing, developing and maintaining this website. This objective does not mean that every page is automatically free of barriers, and it does not replace manual evaluation.

Current status

At the date of this statement, a full accessibility evaluation of the website is in progress. We are not currently making a formal conformance claim for the entire website.

Automated tests can identify some issues, but they cannot determine on their own whether every journey is clear, whether the reading order is logical, or whether all functions can be completed using a keyboard and assistive technologies. The evaluation therefore also includes manual testing.

What we have checked so far

The website has been evaluated through self-evaluation, using to date:

  • automated checks with axe-core, against the rules mapped to WCAG 2.x Level A and AA criteria — at launch and periodically, including through our public checking tool;
  • keyboard-only navigation of the main journeys (navigation, forms, interactive components);
  • verification of behaviour with the reduced-motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion) enabled;
  • manual checks of structure, contrast and forms on the main pages.

What comes next

The full evaluation will include screen-reader testing on agreed browser and operating-system combinations, zoom and reflow checks, and the less frequent journeys. Once completed, we will publish the status, the exact scope of the evaluation and any identified limitations here, with realistic remediation dates.

The evaluation does not cover external websites we link to — including client websites in our portfolio — or content outside Tangled Design's control.

It is helpful if you can include:
