Run an automated accessibility check on a webpage

Enter the URL of a public webpage. The tool opens it in Chrome and runs the axe-core automated checks mapped to WCAG 2.x Level A and AA success criteria. No account or email address is required. Reports are usually ready within 1–3 minutes.

The report is publicly accessible through the generated link. Do not submit addresses containing passwords, tokens, or other confidential information — nor internal pages or preview links.

What the tool checks

  • Opens the page in Chrome and analyses the publicly available version, in its automatically loaded state.
  • Runs the automated checks available in the axe-core version used, mapped to WCAG 2.x Levels A and AA.
  • Lists failed checks, related criteria, axe-core's estimated impact, and the affected elements.
  • Records the final URL and page title, so you can confirm exactly what was analysed.

What the test cannot confirm

This is an automated check of one webpage, not a full-site audit or a compliance certification. It can identify many technical issues, but it cannot confirm on its own whether the reading order is logical, whether every function can be used with a keyboard, or whether the alt text accurately describes each image in context. It does not automatically test every page, interaction, or possible state of a website. Those points require manual review — a report with no automated issues is encouraging, but it does not prove compliance with WCAG or any applicable legal requirements.
